We welcome work placements for later year university students, graduates and holiday visa holders to gain hands on experience within a professional agricultural management company.
We partner with local registered training organisations such as TAFE and schools to generate a pipeline of apprentices. This provides formal training accreditation for young people in the district and an opportunity to develop our next generation of workforce in the business.
We have adopted the industry leading Safe Ag Systems approach to ensure the safety of our staff.
This includes machinery risk assessments, staff task monitoring, incident reporting, etc (AB to look at component parts).

About Independent Ag
Independent Ag’s ‘home farm’ at Benerembah, NSW was born and evolved from three generations of the Braithwaite family’s hard work and diligence, starting from our original settler block from the 1940s.
Today, our 1400 ha farming operation is led by Drew Braithwaite and our team of highly skilled farm managers and contracted ag professionals.
Independent Ag’s Managing Director Drew Braithwaite is an experienced farm manager, agronomist, research and development professional, and agricultural innovator.
